Great work!
Amateur here brother. I do a bit of chainsaw carving and Whiskey/Bourbon and Welcome sign making on the side myself. Love your work my friend. That Joker is pretty 👍damn awesome.
That was cool!
Excellent for beginners, thank you!
Great video , would you Please give me dimensions of log before carving . Thanks for sharing. Thanks. Craig. Pa.
You can use any size log, but this one was 22 inches in height and about 9 inches in diameter
Thank you for getting back to me, very informative and entertaining. I am a subscriber. Craig. Pa.
Made my first one today! Only have a reg Husqvarna. I think it turned out well.. but I need to get a carving rig ;)
Really well made, u did a very good job thumbs up!
Watched this last night.. made my first bear head today! I messed up on the upward cut to the mouth, to make the paws.. so mine is just a head for the fireplace mantle. LoL!
Congrats!!
@@thepeachyginger just finished my 2nd one. I got the paws this time! Made my profile pic for ya :) I'd honestly only used a chainsaw for a few small brush trees in the yard. Then last week I helped parents cut up a decent tree and thought about stump stools for their firepit. YT'd a vid on 3 leg stools and it looked like a challenge. But do-able. 2out of two successful! When I found your bear I had to try to expand my horizons. You made it look so doable. Your next vid I'm trying tomorrow is the owl. Then that awesome gnome house on the mushroom. I'm loving this new world of art through a chainsaw. I googled the dimebar tonight. Gotta get me one of those. I'm just using my dad's Husqvarna. LoL. Time to upgrade...
Great
Awesome. I’m going to carve a bear
Good job 👍
Nice job
Nice
Do you use dry or green wood? Which is best?
I prefer green wood because it's easier to carve. But I use predried stuff for custom orders because it is much less likely to crack.
One of the best videos for beginners carving bear. Thank You
Did the saw come with the carving bar
I'm using a stihl msa 120 battery saw and no the carving bar didn't come with it
What type of saw are you using not much noise
Stihl 12" electric, they run about $300.
@@chamberb01 I have a 12 inch Remington........have been cutting trees with it for 15-20 years and it keeps going. Paid around 40 bucks for it back then.
Would love to know the info on your chainsaw set up
I've got two battery saw at the moment, a stihl msa 120c for detail with a stihl carving bar(dime tip model), and a stihl msa 200 for blocking. Both are powerful and useful for what I'm doing
Sweet thank you
So nice and easy instructions! Please do a full log pine tree! Thank you…I’m a 66 year old female chainsawing with my stihl battery chainsaws and having so much fun! I’m being very careful lol! I’m from northwestern Montana in the mountains…used to live in Barnum Minnesota
Thank you for easy instructions for a beginner! Your video was the nicest one for me to follow!
That is so cute! I wanted to start way too ambitioned and failed with doing a dog :D
Dogs are tough to carve dude! I know how you feel haha
What's the matter can't you speak English
Not bad.
Nice
wher is the smoke cabin it looked like it didnt have a fire burning

Another great video. I had some trees cut down and left a 4' high stump. Plenty of stumps to play around with.
Great job for a beginner such as I am. I appreciated your video. Thanks.
